FKM rubber gaskets are cut from a synthetic fluoroelastomer and are primarily used in the automotive, aerospace and petrochemical sectors due to their performance in demanding sealing applications. This gasket material offers excellent thermal stability and is highly resistant to hydrocarbons, chemicals, petroleum and oils. They also provide outstanding resistance to weathering, oxidation and ozone, but should not be used with organic acids or ketones such as acetone.
At Kaxite, we have the capability to manufacture any standard flange, dovetail, picture frame or bespoke gaskets and are able to fulfil both low and high quantity requirements. For more information on how to accurately measure your gasket, please see our helpful guide on 'How to Measure a Gasket'.
